Job summary

Honeywell invites applications for a Remote Services Commercial Engineer in Independence, OH. You will join the Global Remote Buildings Operation Team, providing 24/7 engineering response and support for Honeywell Connected Sites worldwide, interfacing with customers for remote fixes and escalations.

The role requires working in a hybrid setup, with initial 90 days training in the Cleveland office and attendance 3 days per week. Travel to customer sites may occur less than monthly.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in Maintenance, Repair, Installation & Operation of BEMS.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working on Building Energy Management Systems.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working directly with customers in person or over the phone.
• Exposure to identifying or supporting service revenue opportunities (T&M, SPOT, upgrades) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Commercial Opportunity Ownership: identify opportunities from connected contracts via alarm analytics, system performance, remote diagnostics, and gaps in scope.
• Define and scope technical solutions including corrective works, remote optimization, and minor enhancements.
• Develop and support pricing of T&M and SPOT opportunities with estimates and justification.
• Convert opportunities into executable work orders with Service Account Managers and sales stakeholders.
• Track and manage execution and closure of T&M/SPOT work to meet scope, revenue, and acceptance.
• Drive attach rate and revenue growth from installed base and connected services Portfolio.
• Support bundling of remote services into renewals and contract expansion activities.
