Jobgether is seeking a Build & Release Support Engineer (CI/CD) to maintain and improve build, release, and deployment pipelines for a global engineering organization. You will troubleshoot complex issues, automate tasks, and support developers across distributed teams in a fully remote US-based role.

The ideal candidate has 2-5 years in build/release, DevOps or SRE, with hands-on experience in Maven/Gradle, Artifactory/Nexus, Jenkins, and Docker.

Qualifikationen

• 2-5 years of experience in Build and Release Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or software development with practical CI/CD support.
• Strong proficiency with Git and CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and SDLC knowledge.
• Hands-on with Maven/Gradle, Artifactory/Nexus, and deployment tooling like Spinnaker or equivalents.
• Solid Linux/Unix CLI skills with Python or Bash scripting for troubleshooting and automation.
• Familiarity with Docker; Kubernetes knowledge is a plus.
• Understanding of software supply chain workflows, builds, artifacts, and release processes.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and incident-management abilities.

Aufgaben

• Provide frontline technical support via Slack and tickets for multiple concurrent requests.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot build failures and broken CI/CD pipelines.
• Investigate issues with Maven/Gradle, Artifactory, Spinnaker, and related tools.
• Manage incidents with root-cause analysis and clear status updates to developers.
• Prepare detailed escalations with logs, steps, metadata, and context.
• Maintain and improve technical docs, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides.
• Monitor SLAs and customer satisfaction; ensure high-quality ticket handling.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to improve tooling and delivery workflows.
