Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a senior CI/CD/DevSecOps engineer to design and manage secure, automated delivery pipelines for enterprise applications in a fully remote US role. You will integrate security testing, automate builds, deployments, and compliance checks across cloud and container platforms.

You will collaborate with development, security, and operations teams, mentor engineers, and drive reliability improvements while aligning with federal requirements and RMF controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering with 10+ years of total professional experience.
• At least 3 years of CI/CD pipelines/DevOps automation experience.
• Experience with Jenkins, Harness, GitLab CI/CD or GitHub Actions.
• Practical Git experience and established workflows.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Groovy for scripting.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, registries, and automated deployments.
• Strong understanding of builds, testing, release management, and config management.
• Experience integrating code quality tools and automated security scanning.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for enterprise apps and microservices.
• Improve build, unit/integration testing, and deployment workflows for reliability.
• Create reusable templates, libraries, and scripts for standardized delivery.
• Diagnose and resolve pipeline failures, build errors, and deployment issues.
• Incorporate automated security testing (SAST, SCA, container scanning).
• Implement security gates, quality thresholds, and RMF/NIST-aligned controls.
• Maintain pipeline logs, release approvals, and traceability records.
• Support containerized apps using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Collaborate with infra teams to resolve environment, networking, and access issues.
• Manage source control workflows, versioning, and artifact repositories.
