Job summary

Simformotion LLC, the licensee for Cat Simulators for Caterpillar Inc., is seeking a Build Engineer to support and improve the systems that keep our Simulation Development team building, integrating, and releasing software efficiently. You will work in a remote setting on multiple products with strong emphasis on automation and pipeline reliability.

The ideal candidate has experience with build pipelines, CI/CD tooling, release workflows, Bamboo, Jira, Unity build pipelines, and is motivated to

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional Build Engineering/DevOps experience.
• Experience building and improving CI/CD pipelines and automated build systems.
• Familiarity with Bamboo and Jira in a software development environment.
• Experience integrating Jira and Atlassian tools into engineering workflows.
• Understanding of software delivery, build workflows, and release practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve build, integration, and delivery systems across multiple products.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automation tooling, and deployment workflows.
• Support and improve development workflows around Bamboo, Jira, and Atlassian products.
• Integrate build systems with source control and issue tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and leadership to remove bottlenecks and improve efficiency.
• Write clean, maintainable automation code and configurations.
• Debug build performance and ensure pipeline reliability across environments.
