Job summary

First Roles in Topeka, KS is seeking a Budget Analyst (GS 0560-11) for the KS 184 Wing of the Kansas National Guard. The role involves detailed analysis of annual and multi-year budget estimates, supporting budget formulation, and preparing narratives for budget submissions.

Qualifications

• Experience in budget formulation and analysis for annual/multi-year estimates.
• Ability to prepare narrative justifications and presentation materials for budget submissions.
• Knowledge of DoD/ANG budgeting processes and financial planning documents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze detailed annual and multi-year budget estimates for assigned programs.
• Develop budget submission formats and justification statements for financial plans and POM/FYDP.
• Coordinate with leadership and NGB on budget estimates and defend figures as required.
