Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Budget Analyst for the Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, MO, to manage budget formulation, execution, and review across Civil Works O&M, General Regulatory, Emergency Management, and Overhead accounts. The role involves coordinating funding requests, advising managers, and ensuring compliant documentation.

Candidates must have a valid driver's license, may undergo a suitability/background check, and expect a 10% TDY travel requirement with a possible 1-year

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid state Driver's License to operate vehicles.
• Suitability/fitness determination may be required based on a background investigation.
• Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% for official duties/training.
• 1 year probationary period might be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform budget administration in formulation, execution and review of Civil Works O&M, General Regulatory, Emergency Management, and Overhead accounts.
• Review and track obligations and expenditures for relevant appropriations in the Kansas City District.
• Advise managers and program/project managers on budget request preparation, documentation and submission.
• Coordinate funds requests between District management, program/project managers, and customers.
