Job summary

The Drug Enforcement Administration in Arlington, VA seeks a skilled finance professional to monitor and manage agency budgeting and spending plans within the Financial Management Division. You will coordinate with offices to process funding changes and prepare documents for review and approval.

Your duties include tracking undelivered orders, collaborating with other finance offices, and helping shape budget strategies to ensure funds are used appropriately.

Qualifications

• Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the education requirements if you can show that the foreign education is comparable to that received in an accredited educational institution in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains effective intra-agency relationships to provide support and assistance to offices requiring change requests of funding types, sources, or have strict spending restrictions.
• Prepares for review properly formatted financial documents for supervisory review and approval.
• Supports the development of strategies to ensure agency offices are taking appropriate action on their current and prior year undelivered order balances. Works closely with other finance offices to gather financial or budgetary information and provide feedback to assist in other facets of program financial planning.
