Job summary

Jencap, a leading wholesale insurance intermediary, is seeking a Broker Support Technician to assist brokers with end-to-end Casualty submissions. The role supports the Denver region, currently remote with potential hybrid work in the future.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in insurance servicing, strong communication, and organizational skills to ensure timely, accurate processing and compliance with carrier requirements.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in insurance servicing or agency support (casualty/commercial lines preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency navigating policy management systems and Outlook/Excel.
• Detail oriented with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support brokers with intake, review, and preparation of new business and renewal submissions.
• Coordinate with retail agents for required documents and loss information.
• Gather information via task reminders and workflow tools; manage queues.
• Assist with quote prep, binding docs, and initial policy file setup.
• Process endorsements, cancellations, and reinstatements accurately.
• Handle pre-audit correspondence and premium-bearing audits.
• Maintain electronic files per record-keeping requirements.
• Respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in process improvements and cross-training as assigned.
