Job summary

Arizona Department of Transportation seeks a Bridge Design Manager to lead the Bridge Group’s in-house design programs within the Five Year Highway Construction Program. You will oversee project delivery, staff assignments, schedules, budgets and performance measures while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve ADOT goals.

This role includes a remote work option under the State program and a $4,000 hiring incentive.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of civil engineering principles and bridge analysis.
• Experience leading professional/technical staff and managing projects.
• Familiarity with Federal and State statutes and agency standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Bridge Group's in-house design projects within the Five Year Highway Construction Program.
• Direct tasks to Bridge Design Section Leaders and the Standards Engineer; monitor schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate with ADOT, FHWA, and other agencies to resolve bridge issues and achieve goals.
