Job summary

Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) is seeking a Bridge Design Manager to lead the Bridge Group's design services within the Five Year Highway Construction Program. Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering and 5-10 years experience in bridge engineering with supervisory experience.
• Registered Arizona Professional Engineering License or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license with a 39-month driving history and acceptable record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Bridge Group in-house design projects in the Five Year Highway Construction Program.
• Direct scheduling, budgeting, and staff assignments for bridge design teams.
• Coordinate with FHWA, ADOT groups, and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Develop and implement Bridge Group measures aligned with ADOT goals.
