The position requires a J.D. and 5+ years of experience, preferably with strong transactional background. Travel about 10% and remote office flexibility to a Atlanta HQ are supported.

Qualifications

• J.D. from top law school with strong academic credentials.
• 5+ years’ experience (law firm experience required; in-house experience a plus but not a prerequisite).
• An attorney with strong transactional experience may be a good fit.
• Experience in one or more of the following practice areas: General commercial contracts; Privacy compliance Ecommerce/technology/digital with marketing tech; Retailing/consumer law; Intellectual property; Real estate/leasing; Litigation and dispute resolution; Mergers and acquisitions.

Responsibilities

• Managing the Company’s trademark and copyright portfolios across all brands, including clearance reviews and filings.
• Protecting and enforcing IP, including infringement matters, online takedowns, and cease-and-desist actions.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts including IP licensing and brand collaborations.
• Supporting marketing compliance by reviewing collateral and negotiating partnerships.
• Assisting with pending litigation and claims with outside counsel as needed.
• Providing broad legal advice and developing expertise in new areas of law as necessary.
