Job summary

Amgen seeks a Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative to deliver clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals and to promote products within a defined territory. You will implement marketing strategies, drive sales targets, and manage accounts with a focus on patient access and payer navigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree OR Associate’s degree and 4 years of Sales experience OR High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience.
• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field not sales related; or Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience; or High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals and navigate payer environment.
• Deliver marketing strategy and promote Amgen products as led by the District Manager.
• Achieve territory sales through branded messages, programs, and patient access support.
• Develop relationships to service accounts, customize discussions based on customer needs, resolve reimbursement issues.
