Twist is seeking a remote, customer‑facing bioinformatics Application Scientist to join the Sales team. You will be the link between customers and Twist, supporting pre‑ and post‑sales discussions, assisting with NGS panel design, and helping customers solve technical and scientific challenges with Twist’s products.

Candidates should have a PhD in Bioinformatics, Genetics, Molecular Biology, or a related field with 2+ years biotech experience, or a BS/MS with 7+ years.

Formación

• PhD in Bioinformatics, Genetics, Molecular Biology, or related field with 2+ years biotech experience
• BS or MS in Bioinformatics, Genetics, Molecular Biology, or related field with 7+ years biotech experience
• Strong knowledge of NGS applications and the bioinformatics required to support NGS data analysis
• Experience working in a Linux environment and command line applications

Responsabilidades

• Provide expert understanding and strong technical competency in pre- and post-sales discussions of NGS capabilities and products
• Design and support custom NGS panel designs using established workflows
• Provide bioinformatics support for NGS data analysis to support customer troubleshooting
