Job summary

Salas O’Brien is seeking a remote BIM Specialist to support MEP design teams with Revit workflows, model setup, and content management. You will develop and maintain coordinated BIM models, assist engineers, and uphold project standards across multiple project types.

The role focuses on MEP model development, quality control, and BIM content/standards, reporting to the BIM Manager. 2+ years in BIM coordination is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of MEP drafting/modeling or BIM coordination experience.
• 2+ years Autodesk Revit usage, preferably Revit MEP.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and BIM workflows.
• Experience with model coordination and clash detection tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up, develop, and maintain Revit MEP models and project documentation.
• Support engineers with Revit workflows, model setup, documentation, and troubleshooting.
• Establish and maintain model standards including links, coordinates, and worksharing.
• Develop, maintain, and organize MEP families, content, templates, and parameters.
• Coordinate MEP models with Architectural and Structural disciplines, including clash review.
• Perform BIM quality control to ensure accuracy and deliverables.
• Support AutoCAD↔Revit workflows as needed.
• Participate in BIM and Digital Delivery process improvements and training.
