Job summary

Convergint seeks a skilled BIM Designer to support Design Consulting and Design Build on national and global client projects. You will produce security installation drawings, develop BIM models in Revit, and create accompanying 2D drawings, schedules, and details per BEP and standards.

You will collaborate with Solution Architects and Project Designers, manage model coordination, run clash detection, and help maintain organized project files across multiple projects while ensuring accuracy and

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD for BIM model development.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings and translating them into 3D models.
• Familiarity with BIM standards and ISO 19650 workflows.
• Ability to create construction documents (floor plans, elevations, details).
• Knowledge of Revit family creation and coordination practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop the Information Model using Autodesk Revit.
• Produce BIM drawings and 2D drawings from REVIT files to meet contract requirements.
• Create BIM objects (Revit Families) as needed.
• Coordinate and ensure model elements are fully aligned and clash-free.
• Submit information for BEP approval and perform self-checks for clashes.
• Attend weekly coordination meetings and update the lead designer.
