Job summary

AWIP is seeking a skilled Drafter II to produce intermediate-to-advanced AutoCAD and Revit drawings for insulated metal panel projects. You will prepare accurate BOMs, support Level I Drafters, and coordinate with Project Managers to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

The role requires attention to AWIP standards and strong collaboration across teams. Candidates should have 2–4 years of drafting experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, and a solid understanding of construction practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical drafting certificate or coursework preferred.
• 2–4 years of professional experience using AutoCAD and Revit, or equivalent proficiency.
• Experience with IMPs, building envelope systems, metal buildings, or related construction fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate AutoCAD and Revit drawings for IMP projects per AWIP standards.
• Modify and maintain Revit families and templates with minimal supervision.
• Prepare material take-offs and Bills of Materials for projects with moderate complexity.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Sales to resolve missing or conflicting details.
• Provide guidance to Level I Drafters on drafting practices and AWIP procedures.
