Atlantic Constructors, Inc. in Richmond, VA is seeking an experienced Mechanical Piping Designer with Revit experience to support the design and development of modular buildings and data center infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience with mechanical piping systems, plumbing design, liquid cooling technologies, hot aisle/cold aisle containment, and will collaborate with engineering, fabrication and project teams to produce 3D models, drawings, and coordinated designs for

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in the mechanical piping and process pipe trade or equivalent vocational training
• 5+ years of BIM experience using Revit, Fabrication CAD MEP, and Navisworks Manage

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed mechanical and plumbing models using Revit
• Generate fabrication drawings, spool drawings, installation drawings, and as-built documentation
• Coordinate with engineering, fabrication, electrical, structural, and project manager teams to resolve design conflicts
• Participate in BIM coordination and clash detection reviews
• Design and coordinate mechanical piping systems, including chilled water, condenser water, process piping, and plumbing systems
• Creates efficient piping routing layouts while ensuring constructability and manufacturability
• Develop hot aisle containment and data center cooling layouts
