Job summary

Gallo Mechanical LLC is seeking a Revit Pipe Detailer to create detailed 3D piping models and support engineers, architects, and designers. The role involves interpreting technical specs, resolving design issues, and ensuring BIM-compliant, code-aligned documentation.

Expect collaboration across disciplines and site verification to ensure accuracy. With focus on cost-effective, high-quality construction documents, you will contribute to efficient project delivery and ongoing field data

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Revit for creating detailed 3D models of piping systems.
• Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes.
• Familiarity with piping design principles, including system layouts and components.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drawings and models.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills to address and resolve design issues.
• Understanding of relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
• Field experience with site visits to gather data and verify conditions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models of piping systems using Revit.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other team members to meet project requirements.
• Interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and other technical specifications.
• Address and resolve design issues within the Revit environment.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Conduct site visits to gather data and verify conditions for accurate modeling.
• Prepare material take-offs and bills of materials.
• Communicate design concepts and updates effectively.
