Job summary

Atlantic Constructors is seeking a Pipe Designer-Detailer to model, coordinate and prepare detailed drawings for mechanical piping systems using CAD and BIM tools.

Ideal candidates have BIM experience with Revit, CAD MEP, and Navisworks, plus 2–5 years in piping or 5+ years BIM. This full-time role offers potential for fully remote work for the right candidate and requires strong attention to detail and collaboration with design teams.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in mechanical piping and/or 5+ years BIM experience using Revit, CAD MEP, and Navisworks.
• Strong multi-tasking, detail orientation, and problem-solving skills.
• Must adhere to company policies and assigned schedules.

Responsibilities

• Generates mechanical pipe models using project specs and design drawings, control diagrams and models.
• Incorporates updates to drawings, models, specifications, RFIs, change orders, and submittals as the project progresses.
• collaborates with the build and design team to prevent construction issues due to design flaws.
• Manages time and multiple projects in a fast-paced deadline environment.
• Prepares spools, drawings for prefabrication, site installation maps, and control documentation.
