SaidGig is seeking a remote contract BIM engineer to apply civil and structural expertise for AI training and evaluation. You will produce precise BIM drawings and models using Revit, ArchiCAD, or BlenderBIM, ensuring interoperability and code compliance across Eurocode, ACI, ASCE, IS, and BS.

You will export IFC files, validate geometry and mappings, and document design rationale while coordinating with multi-building teams. Fluency in technical English is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in civil/structural engineering, architecture, or equivalent.
• Master's degree preferred for advanced roles.
• 5+ years producing complete drawing sets and leading BIM/model development beyond reviews.
• 3+ years daily expert BIM authoring in Revit/ArchiCAD/BlenderBIM with IFC export & validation.
• Experience coordinating across disciplines and multi-building projects.
• Knowledge of Eurocode/ACI/ASCE/IS/BS standards in design work.
• Fluent written and spoken English with strong technical communication.

Responsabilités

• Create, review, and refine civil/structural drawing sets using BIM tools.
• Author and manage BIM models for complex/multi-building projects and ensure alignment with code families.
• Export and validate IFC 2x3/IFC4 files for coordination and interoperability.
• Document design decisions clearly in writing and conversations.
• Evaluate requirements, identify constructability issues, and propose improvements.
• Assess BIM tools and data workflows for usability.
• Provide high-quality domain input for AI-powered engineering training.
