Job summary

Placements24 is recruiting a BIM Architect for a fully remote, global practice. You will lead BIM strategy, manage federated models, and champion best practices across distributed teams on large urban and institutional projects.

The role focuses on Revit/Navisworks, BIM coordination, standards development, and training staff. You’ll collaborate with project teams worldwide, drive data management, and stay ahead of digital construction innovations in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years BIM experience in architectural practice.
• Expert in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
• Strong BIM concepts, ISO 19650 familiarity, and best practices.
• Experience with BIM coordination, clash detection, and issue resolution.
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Experience developing BIM standards and workflows.
• Knowledge of Solibri, Dynamo is a plus.
• Proven ability to train and mentor others in BIM.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage BIM execution plans for projects.
• Create, manage, and maintain high-quality BIM models using Revit.
• Lead BIM coordination meetings to resolve clashes and ensure model integrity.
• Develop and enforce BIM standards, templates, and workflows.
• Generate drawings, schedules, and reports directly from BIM models.
• Provide training and support to architectural staff on BIM software and protocols.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure BIM deliverables meet project requirements and timelines.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in BIM technology and methodologies.
• Contribute to the development of the firm's BIM library and content.
• Ensure effective data management and information exchange within the BIM environment.
