Tempus AI is seeking a Billing Support Specialist to serve as the primary contact for billing questions from patients, clients, and payors. You will provide professional billing assistance, estimate out-of-pocket costs, quote pricing, collect payments, and review patient correspondence.

The role requires knowledge of CPT/ICD10 codes, medical terminology, and insurance processes. A high school diploma is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualificações

• High school degree or higher; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Knowledge of CPT & ICD10 codes, medical terminology, insurance plans & processes.
• Excellent telephone and communication skills; able to work in a team.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Chrome and internet usage.
• Salesforce or other case management software experience preferred.
• Ability to read/interpret documents and write routine reports.
• Experience in healthcare or clinical lab administration is preferred.
• Customer service experience in health or wellness settings is preferred.
• Experience in insurance billing, including verification and collections.

Responsabilidades

• Provide support to clients and patients in a timely and professional manner.
• Use critical-thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve billing issues.
• Handle inbound requests across multiple channels and direct as needed.
• Communicate with patients via phone, email, chat, or text to bill for testing.
• Document all interactions in Ambry/Tempus systems thoroughly.
• Review, identify, and process documents correctly.
• Understand FAQs regarding Ambry products and processes.
• Assist with inquiries, aiming for one-touch resolution when possible.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
