Cognizant is seeking a Billing Support Specialist to join the finance and operations team. You will drive accurate invoicing, resolve billing issues, and collaborate with Project Managers and stakeholders to ensure timely payments.

The role emphasizes detail orientation, Excel proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. Remote work within the United States is available, with overtime as needed at month-end.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent professional experience in accounting/finance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to work overtime from the 1st through the 4th of every month.

Responsibilities

• Provide billing support to Project Managers by preparing and issuing invoices per customer requirements and billing schedules.
• Respond to billing inquiries and resolve invoice-related issues promptly and professionally.
• Review billing information for accuracy and compliance with customer guidelines and internal processes.
• Troubleshoot billing discrepancies and propose effective solutions.
• Maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders on billing matters.
