Job summary

Cognizant, a global technology and services company, is seeking a Billing Support Specialist to join the finance and operations team in a remote-capable US role. You will drive invoicing processes, respond to inquiries, and ensure accuracy in project billing.

• Willingness to work overtime from the 1st through the 4th of each month.

Responsibilities

• Provide billing support to Project Managers by preparing and issuing invoices in accordance with customer requirements and project billing schedules.
• Respond to billing inquiries and resolve invoice-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Review billing information for accuracy and ensure compliance with customer guidelines and internal processes.
• Utilize strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot billing discrepancies and recommend solutions.
• Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders regarding billing matters.
• Experience supporting invoicing, billing, or accounts receivable functions.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Experience working with financial systems and reporting tools.

About The Role

As a Billing Support Specialist, you will drive impactful contributions and focus on outcomes. Salary And Other Compensation

Applications will be accepted until October 24,2026.

The annual salary for this position is between $60,000 - $65,000, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
