Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Billing Support Specialist to drive accurate invoicing and support project managers with billing workflows. You will identify issues, prepare invoices, and ensure compliance with customer guidelines.

The role is remote in the United States and requires an associate degree, strong Excel skills, and excellent communication. Overtime may be required from the 1st through the 4th of each month, as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to work overtime at month start through month end.

Responsibilities

• Provide billing support to Project Managers by preparing and issuing invoices in accordance with customer requirements and project billing schedules.
• Respond to billing inquiries and resolve invoice-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Review billing information for accuracy and ensure compliance with customer guidelines and internal processes.
• Utilize strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot billing discrepancies and recommend solutions.
• Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders regarding billing matters.
