Job summary

Auto-Owners Insurance is seeking an entry-level customer service representative in the United States. After in-person training, you may work from home up to three days per week, with a merit-based path to a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities include handling telephone inquiries, following call center guidelines, researching and resolving issues, performing data entry for billing accounts, and maintaining records with accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher considered overqualified for this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by answering telephone inquiries with proper etiquette and giving accurate, timely responses.
• Meet established call center guidelines for answering calls, average talk time, time logged in, after‑call work, etc.
• Research and resolve inquiries and communicate results by telephone or written correspondence to the insured, agents, or other departments.
• Make computer inquiries and entries related to customer billing accounts.
• Update and maintain records according to established guidelines.
