OCHIN, Inc. is seeking a Billing Services Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations and drive high-quality billing services for OBS clients. You will oversee a remote team, shape processes, and collaborate with executives to meet organizational goals.

The role requires extensive billing experience, EPIC system knowledge, and strong leadership and communication skills to navigate complex payer requirements and ensure compliance with HIPAA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of college and experience.
• Minimum 4 years in department supervisory or leadership roles.
• 5–7 years of progressive billing experience with Medicare/Medicaid/Workers Comp and private insurance billing.
• Hospital billing experience required.
• Medical coding experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills with multiple stakeholders.
• Knowledge of EPIC practice management system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage workflows aligned with department goals and objectives.
• Drive execution of team goals in line with organizational initiatives.
• Allocate work based on account needs and staff expertise.
• Provide ongoing coaching and performance reviews for direct reports.
• Identify and mitigate risks and escalate to leadership when needed.
• Analyze revenue cycle for clients and implement solutions.
