Job summary

OCHIN, Inc. is seeking a Billing Specialist to provide accurate revenue cycle services for OBS member clinics. You will manage claims, contact patients, and support financial health with attention to payer guidelines and documentation accuracy.

The role requires rural hospital billing experience, Epic proficiency, and familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid processes. This is a 100% remote position with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Rural hospital billing experience required.
• Experience with provider-based, inpatient, surgery, or ER billing preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid/Workers' Comp/private payer billing.

Responsibilities

• Process claims and manage accounts receivable for OBS member clinics.
• Investigate denials and identify trends to improve reimbursement.
• Communicate billing requirements with internal teams.
• Track deadlines and manage daily billing activities.
• Apply knowledge of the U.S. healthcare system to billing operations.
