Job summary

Iowa Radiology P C, supported by Professional Medical Management (PMM), seeks a Customer Support & Denial Specialist to manage denials, follow-up on claims, and support patients with billing needs. Full-time, office or home office options in a collaborative healthcare environment are available.

Responsibilities include appeals, carrier communication, and coordination with the Billing Manager. Qualifications include 2+ years in billing, CPT/ICD-10 knowledge, and strong English communication

Qualifications

• Two years of billing and insurance experience required.
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding and modifiers preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Resolve denied claims and determine actions for resolution.
• Prepare and submit appeals and track deadlines.
• Investigate outstanding claims and communicate with carriers.
• Process patient inquiries by phone, email, or mail.
• Review and rebill claims, pre-eligibility checks, and CMS forms.
• Collaborate with Billing Manager and clinic staff.
