Job summary

Team Focus Insurance Group is seeking a Policy Underwriting & Risk Assessment professional to join our fully remote team. You will review Personal Lines applications, analyze risk, and determine coverage and pricing with precision.

You will act as a subject matter expert for agents, stay current on underwriting rules, and participate in cross-functional initiatives to improve efficiency. A Bachelor's degree is preferred and 3–5 years of underwriting experience is expected.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of underwriting experience in Personal Lines.
• Knowledge of Property/Casualty underwriting principles.
• Ability to analyze complex applications and make risk decisions.
• Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work without direct supervision.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams.

Responsibilities

• Review and process applications for personal lines to determine eligibility.
• Analyze applications, inspections, and endorsements to set risk and pricing.
• Accept or reject applications and determine coverage and endorsements.
• Provide policy form guidance to agents.
• Stay current on underwriting rules and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in training and cross-functional initiatives.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance underwriting quality and efficiency.
