Job summary

Team Focus Insurance Group is seeking an experienced underwriter for personal lines, including homeowners, in a fully remote role. You will review applications, determine eligibility and coverage, and support agents with forms and endorsements.

The role requires 3–5 years in underwriting, knowledge of P/C principles, and strong communication. Hours are 8–5 or 9–6 ET, with a competitive hourly pay and remote flexibility.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Property/Casualty underwriting principles.
• Ability to analyze complex applications and make informed risk decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams for documentation and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite personal lines applications and determine eligibility, coverage, and pricing.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for agents on policy forms and coverage options.
• Maintain organized workflows to support underwriting standards and compliance.
• Stay current on underwriting rules, regulatory requirements, and participate in training.
