Octiva Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Support Specialist to join our remote patient services team. You will be the first point of contact for appointment scheduling, general inquiries, prescription refills, and care navigation.

This fully remote role requires a quiet home workspace and reliable internet. We value bilingual English/Spanish candidates and offer full-time and part-time shifts across days, evenings, weekdays, and weekends in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 1–3 years in call center/medical office/customer service, healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience with appointment scheduling and patient intake.
• Remote work experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle high-volume inbound patient calls for scheduling, inquiries, refills, and care navigation.
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments across clinic calendars and EMR systems.
• Verify demographics and insurance, update EMR records.
• Process prescription refill requests and route to clinical team.
• Escalate clinical concerns to on-duty staff per protocols.
• Document calls accurately in the system and meet performance metrics.
