Job summary

Evergreen Energy Partners in Utah is seeking an Outreach Specialist to recruit and activate trade allies within the Wattsmart Business program, build relationships with contractors and distributors, and guide first projects to completion.

The role is market-facing, requires self-motivation, strong organization, and the ability to work remotely from a home office. Travel within the Wasatch Front may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience preferred.
• 3+ years in contractor outreach or market engagement related to energy efficiency.
• Experience with lighting, HVAC or mechanical systems is a plus.
• Experience using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, to manage prospects and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Recruit trade allies in targeted markets and reengage inactive ones.
• Guide enrollment, orientation, and submission of first projects with structured support.
• Manage prospects from first contact to closure with clear actions and dates.
• Build relationships through visits, trainings, trade shows and events.
• Generate and follow up on actionable leads from visits, referrals and campaigns.
• Maintain knowledge of offerings and coordinate expert support when needed.
• Coordinate handoffs to project coordinators and ensure visibility into progress.
• Maintain CRM records and a prioritized opportunity pipeline.
• Coordinate outreach with managed accounts to avoid conflicting communications.
