Chrysalis Health is seeking an Intake Specialist Bilingual (Spanish) to verify health insurance coverage and coordinate intake for clients seeking mental health services. The role emphasizes data entry, documentation, and efficient communication with families and providers.

This remote position requires Spanish-language proficiency, strong organization, and the ability to work independently while maintaining compliance with policies and background checks. Benefits include PTO and health coverage.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to professionally communicate in Spanish.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Previous administrative experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Pass annual criminal background checks.
• Maintain a valid state driver’s license with required insurance.
• Safe driving record with no more than six points on MVR.

Responsibilities

• Verify prospective clients' health insurance coverage, benefits, and eligibility prior to scheduling appointments.
• Initiate contact with parents/guardians to introduce Chrysalis Health services.
• Work with Intake Supervisor to initiate assessments for interested clients.
• Enter client information into Microsoft Access and eCR accurately.
• Handle clerical duties, including filing referrals, copying intake packets, and processing mail.
• Manage high call volumes, assisting referral sources and clients efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records and respond to inquiries within 24 hours.
• Collaborate with diverse populations with empathy and professionalism.
