Job summary

Siege Media is hiring a talented bilingual Content Editor (English/Spanish) to prepare, edit, and rewrite a variety of copy for diverse clients. This remote-first role focuses on accurate AP style, fact-checking, and adapting tone for different audiences across health, legal, finance or tech topics.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years editing for bilingual English/Spanish teams, strong Google Workspace skills, and the ability to work autonomously with tight deadlines in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• AP style-focused editing and proofreading.
• Experience writing/editing web content (long-form guides, how-tos, roundups).
• Ability to tailor tone to audience and follow style guides.
• Strong knowledge of health, legal, finance or tech topics.
• Independent, deadline-driven, able to work remotely.
• Experience collaborating in a remote team and using Google Workspace.
• 2–3 years in an editor role for bilingual English/Spanish content.
• 2–3 years in editor role at digital publications or agencies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, edit, and rewrite comprehensive copy in English and Spanish with minimal supervision.
• Read copy to correct spelling, grammar, and syntax errors.
• Adapt tone and complexity for the target audience and style guides.
• Fact-check dates, names, statistics, and facts.
• Improve structure and flow of content.
• Act as final approver on client copy.
• Implement client and teammate feedback.
• Deliver content that grows clients' online presence.
