Job summary

Maximus is seeking an Engineer - Data Analytics to deliver BI information across the organization. The role involves assessing business requirements, designing data specifications, and developing technology solutions. This is a remote position within the United States.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in data/analytics, experience with SQL and Python, and proficiency with Tableau, MicroStrategy or PowerBI. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required; a Master’s is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a technical role engineering data/analytics solutions.
• Experience delivering data-centric projects and documenting requirements and architecture.
• Excellent data skills including complex queries and performance tuning.
• Experience with enterprise analytic tools such as Tableau, MicroStrategy or PowerBI.

Responsibilities

• Deliver BI information to the organization based on business requirements and technical specs.
• Develop and maintain data integration solutions (ETL/ELT), semantic layers, reports and dashboards.
• Translate business needs to system requirements and data models.
• Analyze requirements and design scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
• Provide training and level-3 support for production systems.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field

Master's degree preferred
