Job summary

CRC Group's CRC Benefits unit is seeking a Benefits Support Specialist to act as the operational link between brokers and carriers for health and benefits cases, handling census builds, quotes, and case installation.

This remote role requires at least 2 years of administrative experience, proficiency with Salesforce and Excel, and solid knowledge of group insurance procedures. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years related administrative experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce.
• Good understanding of group insurance procedures.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read, comprehend, and interpret enrollment, carrier, and other job-related documents.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills; ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Monitors receipt of new and renewing cases.
• Logs cases in internal systems; including Salesforce.
• Data entry of new business and renewals in the carrier system.
• Confirms Agent/Agency appointments on new cases.
• Sends out necessary appointments to Agent/Agency and follows up through completion.
• Follows up with carrier to obtain approval and policy number; communicates approved policy to the broker.
• Assists in generation of carrier quotes.
• Maintains SOPs for censuses and installations.
• Supports special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
