Job summary

Symetra is hiring for an Associate Benefits Operations Analyst to lead the implementation of small group employee benefit plans and manage onboarding from sale to contract issuance. The role supports a migration project and will evolve into ongoing client onboarding, with additional hours during critical milestones.

Ideal candidates bring strong project management, customer service, and communication skills, plus proficiency in Word, Excel, and Access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Finance or equivalent experience.
• Experience in benefits or medical insurance preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end implementation of small group employee benefit plans.
• Coordinate migration activities and onboarding processes.
• Serve as primary operational contact for customers, brokers, and internal partners.
• Monitor timelines, resolve issues, and ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare onboarding materials and maintain implementation records.
