Job summary

Symetra Financial Corporation is seeking an Associate Benefits Operations Analyst to lead end-to-end implementation of small group employee benefit plans. You will coordinate with underwriting, contracts, billing, claims, compliance, IT, and customer service to ensure accurate and timely onboarding.

The role includes supporting a Dearborn-to-Symetra migration project and transitioning into a permanent implementation role for ongoing new business onboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Finance or three to five years of equivalent experience in a dynamic benefits/insurance environment.
• Strong project management and interpersonal skills; detail oriented with high accuracy.
• Proven ability to learn complex rules and coordinate cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end implementation of small group employee benefit plans.
• Support migration project from Dearborn to Symetra and ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate activities with Underwriting, Contracts, Billing, Claims, Compliance, IT, and Customer Service.
