Job summary

CAI is seeking a Benefits Manager to oversee health, welfare, and retirement programs across a remote, full-time role. You will lead a benefits team, partner with carriers and brokers, and ensure compliant and competitive offerings while communicating clearly to employees.

You will manage Open Enrollment, collaborate with Finance for budgeting, and support audits and regulatory filings. This position requires expert knowledge of ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, and multi-state compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience administering employee benefits programs including health, welfare, and retirement plans.
• 3+ years of experience directly managing or supervising staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administration, compliance, and improvement of health, welfare, and retirement benefit programs.
• Lead a team of benefits professionals and coordinate with carriers and brokers.
• Ensure benefits remain competitive, compliant, and clearly communicated to employees.
• Manage annual Open Enrollment planning and execution.
• Coordinate with Finance and Payroll on invoices, costs, and budgets.
• Ensure regulatory filings and notices are completed (ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA).
