GreenSlate is seeking a Benefits Data Analyst to optimize the administration of employee benefits, manage reconciliation, and support state-mandated programs. This remote role within the United States requires strong SQL skills and experience in benefits data analysis.

The position emphasizes data accuracy, reporting, and collaboration with the Insurance Services team to minimize financial risk and improve benefits operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics)
• 3–5 years in group benefits administration, benefits data analysis, or related role
• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Intermediate SQL skills for data querying and manipulation
• Familiarity with SQL Server, Snowflake, or Tableau is a plus

Responsibilities

• Ensure data accuracy across payroll and benefits administration partners
• Manage billing reconciliation to ensure full reimbursement of liabilities
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve benefits data issues
• Develop dashboards and reports to monitor benefits data metrics and trends
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on benefits deduction management
• Audit benefits data for errors and opportunities for process improvement
• Support audits related to benefits data compliance and controls
