Job summary

CRC Group in the United States is seeking a Benefits Support Specialist to serve as the operational link between brokers and carriers for group health benefits cases. You will build censuses, run final quotes, install cases with carriers, and track progress from receipt to approval, ensuring brokers receive timely confirmation.

This is a remote role, enabling collaboration via video and screen sharing while working from home.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years related administrative experience.
• Proficiency in Salesforce.
• Strong understanding of group insurance and carrier procedures.
• Clear written and verbal communication with internal teams, agents, brokers, and carrier representatives.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills; ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Monitors receipt of new and renewing cases.
• Handles logging all cases in/out of internal systems; including Salesforce.
• Handles data entry of new business and renewals in the carrier system.
• Confirms Agent/Agency appointments on new cases.
• Sends out necessary appointments to Agent/Agency and follows up through completion.
• Follows up with carrier to obtain carrier approval and policy number; communicates approved policy to broker.
• Assists in generation of carrier quotes.
• Maintains the SOPs for censuses and installations.
• Supports special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
