Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Employee Benefits to lead client service and coordinate a growing benefits book. Remote work across Eastern/Central time zones is available with occasional onsite requirements for local activities.

You will supervise Account Coordinators, manage renewals, data management, and carrier communications while pursuing sales opportunities and upholding IOA values.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Active licensing required.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational, delegation, and decision-making abilities.
• High accuracy in handling large work volumes.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business and meet performance requirements.
• Deliver outstanding service and respond quickly to requests.
• Lead the account team and coordinate daily tasks and expectations.
• Identify sales opportunities to grow IOA business.
• Oversee new business setup, renewals, data management, and client communication.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure compliance with policies.
• Act as intermediary for clients and carriers to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Support professional development and process improvements.
