Job summary

LifeStance Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Medical Scheduler to manage inbound and outbound calls, gather insurance information, and verify coverage for patients in the Tucson area. You will work both remotely and on-site, collaborating with clinic staff and payors to provide high-quality service.

Hours are 8:00 am–5:00 pm PST, Monday–Friday. On-site training occurs at 2850 N Country Club Rd, Tucson, AZ 85716.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining confidentiality of records aligning with HIPAA requirements
• Assess for high risk/high acuity needs and collaborates a warm hand-off to a Behavioral Health Professional
• Maintain client-related paperwork (billing, BH screeners, progress notes, contact notes, and other required forms)
• Exceptional Customer Service
• Answering and routing calls as appropriate
• Daily outbound calls to potential clients
• Engage with multiple payors and their interfaces
• Additional responsibilities as appropriate
