Lifepoint Health, Inc. is seeking a Phone Counselor Assessor- Behavioral Health for remote, part-time night shifts (Thu–Sat 12:00am–7:30am EST).

The role acts as the first contact for individuals seeking behavioral health or substance use services, coordinating evaluations and triage with clinicians to ensure timely, safe patient care. Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field; Nursing degree may be required by state regulations.
• Associate-level Counseling or Social Work license or RN license if required by state regulations.
• One year of assessment experience in an inpatient behavioral health care setting preferred.
• Two years of experience working with patient populations preferred.
• CPR certification required within 30 days of employment and de-escalation certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Respond to requests for services, including evaluation and referral processes.
• Schedule face-to-face and phone assessments and conduct tele-evaluations.
• Triage safety and risk; screen for medical/behavioral emergencies and coordinate with clinicians.
• Maintain pre-admission and admission paperwork and complete pre-certification with insurers.
• Uphold Lifepoint Health core values and provide clear treatment guidance to patients and families.
