Job summary

State of Washington seeks a BH-ASO Health Care Program Manager to lead statewide crisis program oversight, focusing on mobile rapid response and community-based teams. This remote, full-time role guides endorsement processes, contract language, and performance oversight in alignment with legislative requirements.

The role collaborates across divisions and with Tribes, ensuring compliance, funding optimization, and policy implementation while offering alternative work schedules based on business

Qualifications

• Experience in crisis services or health care policy.
• Ability to translate legislative direction into practical program strategies.
• Strong data-driven performance tracking and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary DBHR contract contact and oversee statewide performance for endorsed crisis teams.
• Oversee contract language for grants and provide technical assistance on amendments.
• Develop and implement processes for enhanced-rate performance payments to endorsed teams.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state requirements, including HITECH/HIPAA and related acts.
• Develop and review monitoring tools to ensure quality of care and corrective action when needed.
• Serve as the main contact for quality development and performance of endorsed crisis teams.
• Collaborate with Medicaid and other divisions on contract language and oversight.
• Provide input on statewide policy and legislation and suggest program improvements.
