Job summary

Woolpert is seeking a Remote Sensing Technician to join our Geospatial Team. The position focuses on sensor operation, data processing, and reporting for airborne mapping missions, with travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations. This entry-level opportunity emphasizes critical thinking and problem-solving in a dynamic setting.

Applicants must have work authorization in the U.S. and be willing to travel 30–90 days per project.

Qualifications

• Desire to learn and grow in a dynamic operational team.
• Understanding of computer hardware and GIS concepts.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for project work.
• Ability to pass pre-employment verification and drug screening.
• Land surveying experience is a plus.
• Experience with airborne data collection, processing, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Download, process, edit, and troubleshoot sensor data in the field.
• Set up and operate ground GPS bases and flight planning.
• Install, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot sensor equipment on ground and in flight.
• Ensure safe and secure use of company equipment.
• Complete field logs and reporting as required.
