The Probst Group seeks a Wastewater Field Technician to support treatment systems across multiple locations. Location is remote, based in Wisconsin or Texas. The position requires 2+ years in wastewater or related fields, valid driver license, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of wastewater or environmental services experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% with overnight stays.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and document work clearly.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather.
• Must wear PPE and follow safety protocols.

Responsabilités

• Travel to customer sites 50-75% of the time, including overnights.
• Maintain wastewater treatment systems and ensure permit compliance.
• Review WWTP data and recommend performance improvements.
• Diagnose problems and implement corrective actions.
• Provide on-site training and technical guidance to operators.
• Prepare and maintain field service reports and logs.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and customers to meet scope and budget.
• Assist with system start-ups, preventive maintenance, and SOP updates.
• Support during emergencies and system recovery.
