Job summary

The Probst Group is seeking a Wastewater Operator in Richland Center, Wisconsin to support customers and the organization in operating industrial wastewater treatment systems. You will perform sample collection, monitor processes, operate equipment, and assist with maintenance while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include daily data documentation, using CMMS MaintainX, handling chemicals, and participating in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Respond within 30 minutes when on call.
Valid driver’s license.
Good problem-solving, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

Collect wastewater samples for process monitoring and compliance requirements.
Operate equipment, read gauges, meters, and record data.
Perform fundamental basic laboratory tasks.
Assist with maintenance, repairs, and tasks as needed.
Safely handle chemicals and adjust dosing per supervisor direction.
Conduct daily walkthroughs of the facility, complete documentation, complete checklists, and elevate concerns as needed.
Utilize the SCADA system and make fundamental adjustments.
Participate in On-Call rotations after hours and on weekends with support from management as needed.
