Job summary

Ensono is seeking a Banking Solution Architect to drive technical innovation for financial institution clients. You will work alongside solution architects and digital consultants through the pre‑sales process, delivering end‑to‑end solutioning from mainframe modernization to modern digital services while ensuring regulatory compliance.

This role emphasizes building executive relationships, creating reference architectures, and delivering fully costed solutions tailored to banking requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in solution architecture, with 5+ years in financial services/banking.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/engineering or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, TOGAF).
• Understanding of mainframe technologies and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of banking regulatory requirements (PCI-DSS, FDIC, SOX).

Responsibilities

• Understand client needs and tailor banking solutions.
• Present Mainframe Modernization and digital offerings to banking clients.
• Develop PoCs demonstrating value across IT landscape while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Handle questions during proposals with banking-focused expertise.
• Lead multi-year transformation programs with cross-functional teams.
• Create reference architectures for complex financial solutions.
• Build executive relationships and manage client satisfaction and risk.
• Provide fully costed solutions meeting regulatory requirements.
• Communicate progress through presentations and stakeholder meetings.
• Maintain documentation on IT activities, roadmaps, and regulatory considerations.
